The board has a straighter rocker and a parallel outline, which fades into a dynamic winger tail to increase its maneuverability. The squared off nose keeps the length to a minimum, and there are three sizes for you to choose from. The 5’3” is perfect for larger riders over 75kg who would usually ride a board around 5’8” while the smaller 5’1” is ideal for smaller riders. We have this year added a 5’5’’ for the riders over 85 kgs or those looking for more stability.
Freestyle is a lot about control, pop and landing. The volume and the thickness of the SLICE have been specifically tailored for kiting to ensure the highest possible level of performance.
Underneath, you’ll find a single concave with central channel which has been extended and now runs along the entire length for more directional stability.
We’ve kept the rails of the board thin to allow you to hold a better edge and also to increase the pop, making freestyle tricks easier. The distinct kick in the rocker line around the fins has been emphasized to get more pop out of the board.
The nose is pulled up slightly to help nailing the landings while the long channel provides the stability required.
The board delivers plenty of speed, both on flat water, for tricks, and in the waves too. The flatter rocker line enables the board to carry itself through weaker sections of the wave. The thin rails and pulled in winger tail make for dynamic turns on the face. The thruster fin set up offers maximum versatility across a wide range of conditions, while also making the board easier to use.
For strapless freestyle riding, the compact dimensions make it very easy to maneuver the board in the air and swing weight is reduced. Even performing simple jumps is made easier, with a wide stance pop comes easy and the light nature of the board will help you improve incredibly quickly.
The SLICE is best suited to small and medium sized waves and excels when the conditions are onshore and the waves aren’t too powerful. The increased speed offered by the board allows you to negotiate the wave without relying on its power as much.

The SLICE BAMBOO has an efficient and reliable bamboo construction. The deck and bottom are built with bamboo sandwich construction to get a solid and light board using natural wood veneers. The deck receives a double bamboo layer in the feet area as extra reinforcement for durability. Equipped some foot strap inserts, the SLICE BAMBOO comes with a thruster fin set and the possibility to add a front pad as an option if desired.
The introduction of this construction has marked a major change into the F-ONE surfboard range and especially on our three key products.
To face the ever higher constrains applied by the riders on their surfkites F-ONE has engineered a new foam composite construction with optimized flex for maximum reliability, comfort and manoeuvrability. The mechanical characteristics achieved by this construction provide a lighter weight and a perfect surfboard feel.
The deck has been recessed by 5mm on a wide area underneath the front foot in order to add an EVA shock absorbing foam layer.
This foam layer absorbs effectively all impacts for the riders and makes the board even more durable.
As the strapless discipline develops and grows, so does the demads it puts on the boards
With higher jumps and tougher landings, the stresses applied to the boards have migrate towards the rails and we have reinforced some of our constructions with lateral deck stringers to make the boards more robust in these areas. These stringers are not full depth to keep the flex and heel of the board.
RTM technology stands for RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING. This process uses a closed mold to produce accurate composite parts.
The resin is injected in the mold after it is closed, with the dry fiber having been placed inside beforehand. The closed mold injection allows for great shape accuracy and the epoxy resin used make the fins stronger and more responsive providing a sharper feel on the water.
